Seamount College have a number of hockey teams in all age groups. KHC have a very close relationship with the school as this is mutually beneficial for the development of players. KHC are lucky to have such talented teachers/coaches in Seamount College. Currently some hockey training takes place on the small Astro pitch in Seamount.

Currently, the time taken from valuable teaching and learning time as teams travel to home and away games is excessive as they don’t have a home facility to play on. In addition, there is never home advantage for school teams. Whilst this doesn’t appear to impacted their success, imagine their potential if training and playing facilities were available on their
doorstep…

TY Hockey Programme
In collaboration with Seamount College, Transition Year students can undertake a TY programme which involves coaching and training hockey. They then roll out this programme in primary schools locally.
